About this compound

L-Carnitine

The fat-transport shuttle

L-Carnitine is the compound responsible for carrying fatty acids into the mitochondria — the cellular furnaces where fat is burned for energy.

What is L-carnitine?

A naturally occurring compound synthesised from the amino acids lysine and methionine, concentrated in muscle tissue. Your body makes some, and red meat provides more — but supplemental doses raise muscle carnitine beyond dietary levels.

The science

Long-chain fatty acids can't cross into mitochondria on their own — carnitine is the shuttle that ferries them across the membrane to be oxidised for fuel. Adequate carnitine supports efficient fat metabolism during exercise, and research in active people links supplementation with reduced muscle soreness and improved recovery markers after hard sessions.

Why you'll use it

Take it before cardio or training, especially in a fat-loss phase when fat is a primary fuel source. The liquid format absorbs quickly and stacks cleanly with caffeine-based products.

Benefits

  • Supports fatty acid transport and metabolism
  • Fast-absorbing liquid format
  • May reduce post-training soreness
  • Stimulant-free — stack with anything
  • Ideal before cardio sessions
